FALL TOUR OF ST. GEORGE Race Reviews
As a citizen of St. George I abhor any bike race that utilizes highways for the race without shutting down a lane. The bikers are meant to stay in the bike lane but don’t. They have to cross major on-ramps and exits and it’s made my stomach hurt with all of the close calls. They endanger themselves and the drivers that are swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting them. The route to the airport turns into a two lane highway and I witnessed bikers passing in the single car lane and holding up traffic that is meant to be going 65 mph. An Ambulance and Firetruck were dispatched for a biker vs car accident. What a stupid idea to out that many inexperienced people on bikes and let them ride with highway speed traffic.

What a great ride and venue!

I did the 100 mile ride. Beautiful course. The aid stations were amazing. Great volunteers and very well stocked, the Veyo pies were amazing. Thanks for the post race lunch, also excellent. I would definitely do this ride again.
